Dress Code: What you’re going to need for class

*2026/2027 Season Dress Code*

Please keep in mind that the uniform is a sign respect for the art of dance and any student who does not come to class prepared maybe asked to sit out.
For each discipline, items note with a * may be required as part of costume.
Please DO NOT wear hip-hop sneakers/dance shoes for any discipline from the car then into the studio- we need your help to keep the studio clean for all dancers.
We encourage our dancers to bring their own water bottle so that they can stay properly hydrated throughout their class.
Thank You

Where is the best place to find items for your uniform?  Some of our favorite places to find items are at our local second hand shops. Other options could include a dance store or shopping online.
We also have a shoe library located in the lobby of our studio. Please feel free to take a peek in there before you shop. If you have any dance shoes at home that your dancer has out grown you are welcome to contribute to our library at any time. It is a wonderful way to help out our fellow LOFT family members and we really appreciate it.
